Step 1 Score- Third or Fourth Wednesday ?

Hello all,

If I take step 1 on Friday, the score come out on the third or fourth Wednesday after the exam ?

To be more specific, if I take it on Friday 8/15 will it be out on 9/3 or 9/10 ? [given there are no delays]

If you wrote it on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday you receive your exam on the third wednesday. So in your case the 3rd of Sept.Those who write their exam on Mon or Tuesday will receive their results 4 wednesdays after because they also count the wednesday on the week they write their exam. Hope that is clear.

Great. Do you mind telling me the source of this ? Is it past experiences or something official ?

Another question please. Does it matter if the exam session is in the afternoon [1:30 pm] as regards to the score reporting ? My exam is on Friday 8/15 at 1:30 pm and I need the result at 9/3 and according to what you wrote I should be expecting it on my desired date, but the afternoon session thing is worrying me . Thank you.
