Trying to figure out how many wrong answers per each block I am ¨allowed¨ to have and still reach 225-230 rage, any ideas ?? Really need help with this calculation...

I thought It was like 75% correct approximately for a 220, I know the scoring system is not set like that (per question) and every question have its own different scoring weight, but there has to be some kind of relationship regarding overall % of correct answers and the 3 digit score.

No matter how hard people try to figure it out there is no one who actually knows how this test is scored. I dont care what people say. The NBME is very cryptic about their process. I can only give my personal experience in that I was able to confirm about 30 questions I got wrong total within the week after my step exam, who kows how many more I missed and ended up doing fairly well and actually scored above my NBME average. Tehre is no way to know what questions are experimental or not either bc some very easy questions may be experimental so my point is to not worry about this issue and only worry about what you can control. There's no way to know BUT judging off of what my friends and others who have taken the exam and gotten scores back told me: I'd say you should aim to get about 30 questions correct per block to score in the 220-225 range, perhaps even more like ~227

I wouldn't approach the test this way. Just do the NBMEs and see where you stand. They provide a great indicator of your score potential on the real exam.
