Hello everyone,
What is the timeframe that is recommended for studying for Step 1? When is the best time to take this exam? Please suggest the material that most rely on when preparing. Thanks!

Uworld >>>> everything

Anki

pathoma 1-3 + pathoma in general if you have time

Sketchy Micro > Pharm >>>>>>>> (skip path)

UWSA 1/2 > Free 120 (take a few days before test) > NBME

All of it can be done in ~2 months if not less.

The answer will always be the same UWORLD >>>>> everything else. Everyone will finish it at different times, it all depends on how fast you can get through it. My dedicated was 6 weeks. You should aim for getting through 100% of uworld, but if you are scoring >70% on multiple NBMEs then you are ready.

Depends on where you are starting from. If the question is about dedicated study after finishing preclinical, 4-6 weeks of hardcore review is sufficient for most people. After week 6 burnout sets in and performance trends down.

If you're asking about transitioning to a more Step 1-oriented approach while still going through preclinical, that's a different animal.

The resources listed above are all good and commonly used.
