The interim chair at UTSW specifically mentioned the importance of Step 2 and the correlation to performance on the anesthesia boards. Don't know if this is anecdotal or from some serious analysis - but to those who don't have their score reports published in ERAS yet, it might be worth mentioning your performance (given its to your favor) at this particular program.

Just a heads up, most of the board scores talk I have heard through the grapevine centers on step I cutoffs and such - but this was straight from his mouth. Sorry if this is old news!

Dr. Whitten likely has kept track of this correlation, but the sample size is just UTSW residents, so take it for what it's worth with that in mind.
