Step 2 average score by residency program

Hello,

Is there any place where one can view the average Step 2 scores for successful applicants to a given residency program? Basically, like MSAR for med schools with MCAT.

I can find what the average scores are for a specialty in general, but beyond comparing specialties, it'd be nice to know how that looks at a more fine-grained level, between programs within a given specialty.

Texas STAR has the best data for this.

Many schools give it to their 4th year students for free.

Honestly this data doesn’t really exist. Texas Star is the closest but it still isn’t that accurate and doesn’t necessarily include all residents in a given program

Residency explorer does give you the score range for recently accepted applicants.

Yeah, not really. You have to remember that getting into residency is akin to getting your first clinical job. The reporting rules are not as open unless AAMC/AACOM/ACGME wants them to be (or that's my impression).

Thanks for the comments! ResidentExlporer and TexasStar look like good resources to have, regardless of lacking the average Step exam scores.
