Hi everyone. I was just curious. I just took step 2 CK. If the score doesn't return until after September 1, is it possible to submit my USMLE transcript (with just step 1 on it) and only resend it if I am happy with my score even if the score comes back just the next week after ERAS opens? i.e., I can then resend it with my step 2 ck score after interviews? I wonder if the turnaround time might be a bit prolonged given the recent tweaks in format that are happening in the beginning of August. I know the general wisdom is 3-4 wednesday's after test administration.

Yes. In ERAS you can say NO to automatically transmitting updates when new Step scores become available. This way you can review your scores and choose whether or not to release them.

So in ERAS,
1. Say YES to transmitting your USMLE transcript
2. Say NO to automatic updates

This of course only works if your Step 2 scores are released after September 1.
