Step 2 CK scores lower than Step 1. Screwed or not?

So...most of the people I've spoken to say their step 2 ck scores were 15-20 points higher than their step 1 scores. I've gotten some interviews from very respectable programs and am pretty worried about the impact my lower step 2 ck score might have. I have a 249/99 on step 1 and a 244 on step II ck. Should I just forget about some of the better programs I'm interviewing at and start applying to more safety schools? By better programs i mean Vanderbilt, UT Houston, UT Southwestern Dallas, both Baylors, Ochsner Clinic Foundation, etc...

Plus the next person who exclaims to me how much better their step II score is will be slapped. With fervor.

Also do not forget that there is a margin of error in the scores, which should give you the benefit of the doubt. 🙂
