From what i understand, i should only include a work up that is relative to my 2/3 DDx. What if the patient is concerned he has HIV/AIDS (but this is not one of my differentials). Is it okay to include HIV Ab (ELISA), etc in my work up?

This probably won't happen, but you have 8 (9?) spots for testing, so if necessary you can include it at the end as long as you don't use up the space for other critical tests. Depends on the encounter. On some of them I used all the spots, on others I only used 2-3 tests.
