I probably failed this today
I am wondering if I repeat it in February and get it done next time it will be okay (as far as residencies go)

Thanks bros

You probably didn't fail.
Some programs I applied to required a CS pass in order to be ranked. Most programs didn't care or didn't specifically state their preference.

I literally needed 5 seconds to write down diagnostic studies on 1 case, which I already knew what to order but timer went off so I couldn't... I was pretty tilted after that. But rest I did write down differential dx/diagnostic studies first so I don't run out of time.
Forgot some counseling, there were some awkward pauses and I stuttered some during closure because I think slow, forgot some questions to ask pertinent to presentation, forgot some PEs...

I did the bread and butter on all cases though including knock, address by Mr./Ms., showing some empathy, open ended questions, PAMHUGSFOSS, OLDCARTS, head/heart/lung/abd/extremities exam on all cases, wash hands/stethoscope, pulling out legs support for abd exam, and having closure

In addition, I feel like I nailed all 12 cases' diagnosis.. they were really straight forward to me

I just don't feel good about bolded part

I'll pray for you.

But if they rank you and you match, you have to pass it before July 1st... My school only requires CK for graduation.

I have checked a lot of IM programs and most require CS by January end or early February to rank you. I guess things are changing quickly.

I didn't apply to IM. Different specialties have different trends/requirements.

Many medical schools require CS for graduation as well. Mine certainly did.
