Sorry, my test will be in phile, but the last week. I'll be in phile on jan 24 through the 27. Same offer, anyone in town, wanna hang out.

It'll keep me from going crazy or worse yet, reading for the exam. yikes.

I took it down in Philly there. It was a pretty useless day. 12 patient encounters - 5 then lunch, 4 then break, 3 then home. I was done about 3:30pm.

The cases seen are really standard, basic stuff. You just have to come up with a note and a differential diagnosis. Your only plan is to do further diagnostic tests. Treatment isn't tested.

Again, it was rather useless.

right. if you're taking an afternoon exam, you'll do 11 patient encounters and be done around 10-10:30.

many of the patient encounters are incredibly simple and can be completed VERY quickly. don't worry if you finish a given encounter faster than everyone else.

the "standardized patients" were generally unconvincing -- nothing like real patients. just keep that in mind.

I'm taking my test next thursday in Phile, but I check-out of my hotel on the same day. What do I do with my suitcase? Can I leave it at the test center, just ask my hotel to hold it for me, or ask for a late check-out. I have an AM test, so I should be done by 3-4.

I left it with the bell man. Just give him a buck for tip when you pick it up afterwards. I stayed at the Sheraton and it worked out pretty well as it is very closeby.
