Step 2 CS Permit Link!

I took cs in september and wont get my result until december. Today I noticed that the permit link for step 2 cs was gone, however I am not sure if it was ever active after I finished my exam. Was wondering, anyone who has taken CS relatively recently, can you confirm whether you have an active permit link on the nbme website?

My hope of course, is that if there was a link after the exam that now is gone, I can be reasonably comfortable that I passed (like everyone, sort of got spooked after the test that I may have failed)

I unfortunately don't think there's any correlation between the permit link disappearing and passing the exam. If it makes you feel better though, my permit disappeared a couple weeks after taking my exam, and I found out recently that I passed. I think the bigger thing to keep in mind is that almost everyone seems to feel pretty terrible after taking the exam, only to find out they passed comfortably a couple weeks/months later. Odds are this will be true for you too!

I am definitely aware of how everyone on this forum feels after CS, and so appreciate your input. I guess what would be most helpful is if folks who failed the exam were able to report if their permit link never in fact disappeared. I doubt I'll get that response though

I don't think it means anything. My link disappeared in less than a week. I passed but I doubt they were able to grade it that fast. I read a post by an IMG on another forum who failed step 2 CS, but his link had disappeared.
