I have heard that during the CS exam, one of the potential cases may include a phone call 😱 Does anyone know about this or experienced this?

Jezus, will you people stop stressing about this test? If you have ever seen a patient and if your school taught you the minimum about physical diagnosis - YOU WILL PASS THIS TEST.

Yes, there can be a phone call. You merely talk to the person on the phone like it is a patient who has a concern about whatever their concern is about. Just like you would if a patient called your office. It's not difficult.

Calm down fuzzy, they're just asking ?. The test does cost $1000 and travel expens, so I didn't take it lightly either.

Yes, you may have to talk on a phone to someone about their kids illness, or you may just see a parent in the room and only talk about the child. Point is that you do the same as you would if the kid was there. The only exception is the there is no PE. Makes your job that much easier and the note to write quicker.

I took it on thursday in Phile, it was ok. The proctors are all really cool people and they know the stress and expense of the test. It is hard to really know if you passed, b/c unlike the written, you have to just "wing it" and hope you ask all(some) of the ness. questions, do a proper PE...This is much more open for interpretation, i.e. I pressed on abd, but not hard b/c they will tell you that deep palpation is not ness, so will I auto. get points for that? Don't know?
Best of luck.
