Hi
I was wondering if programs consider high step 3 score as a main differentiation factor in selecting fellows in Internal Medicine subspecialities
Basically, is step 3 only a matter for licensing or its more than that?
Thanks 😕

no. I can tell you that board scores are usually not a major factor by that point of your training. So long as you have passed and have at least average scores. But as always, it can only benefit you to do better. Certainly having passed is essential for licensing.
