Hey everyone, I'm kinda confused about these two products. Please enlighten me if you can.

Our school says Qbank is great, but the questions are easier than the real thing and the timing of the questions also is less tight than the real thing.

I'm also informed that NMS has hard questions that are tougher than the real thing. It's also cheaper.

So what's the deal? Is NMS really a viable "alternative" to Qbank or would it be a big mistake to not get Qbank? If Qbank is too "easy" would it be helpful to take an NMS test as well?

Also, would you recommend getting JUST Qbank, or getting Qbank AND IV-Qbank?

between q bank and iv q bank....just q bank...i had the same question and lotsa ppl on this forum and outside told me the iv is not worth itcoz the questions are not like that in the real thing
nms book is not that expensive geta used one off the internet

Definitely do not try to substitute q bank with NMS. NMS is ok, but it's questions are too specific and you will end up learning a lot of stuff you don't need to know for step I if you just study from those questions. q bank is the most reflective of step I, and it's computer format is the easiest to use (by using the tutor format and getting answer explanations right away). NMS should only be used during times when you don't have access to the internet (although I would reccomend just studying during those times).

Thanks for clearing it up, guys. Especially since it's taken a MORE THAN A MONTH for the "learning specialist" who explains the Boards at our school to even respond to my emails-- and I tried contacting them FOUR times. Thanks!
