I studied for about 3.5 weeks, with a few days off for breaks. Hadn't been involved in any medically-related classes for several months, and really had to dig deep to review all the stuff from third year clerkships. During the exam, I had a computer malfunction (timer started but could not move cursor). Later on, a girl started mumbling to herself loudly enough that three other people in addition to myself went up to complain. She had the audacity to angrily deny doing it--and then started up again as soon as the proctor left the room. Finally, as the day wore on, I began to realize that I knew next nothing of what they were asking me. I felt completely drained of knowledge, and was left wondering where all I had studied had gone overnight.

Wednesday I got my score: 230/93.

Bottom line: No matter what you feel about yourself during the test, realize these things:

1. These tests are designed to make you doubt yourself. Don't let it happen.

2. Almost everyone passes. More than likely, you will, too.

3. If you truly studied to the best of your capacity, the test is yours for the taking. Go get your well-deserved score.

Best of luck to all.

Thanks sean.

my experience was similar besides the mumbler and computer error. I was absolutely drained and couldn't even read the questions toward the end. I wonder what happened to my stamina. Step 2 was the first exam to challenge my stamina. I am waiting for my scores which should come this week.
