Step II Prep Class?

I just failed Step 2, for the second time and I need help! Studied all the right things, did tons of q-bank questions and felt really prepared but still tanked.

Can anybody suggest a good prep class? I did Doctors-in-Training before the first time, and for the second did Boot Camp AND Kaplan. I don't think it's the content so much as my test-taking skills that's causing me trouble.

"Study harder" is not helpful, thanks anyway. Other sincere suggestions appreciated.

Had the same problem, dromm. Check out the website for The Institute of Medical Boards!!! http://www.theinstituteofmedicalboards.com/ Someone from here (SDN) actually referred me, but s/he did it in a private message so I don't know if it's OK to say who that was. There are courses for all Steps, and while the courses do include content review, each is primarily a course that TEACHES YOU HOW TO TAKE STANDARDIZED MEDICAL BOARD EXAMS!!! By the time you are done, you will be able to tackle ANY standardized exam for the rest of your exam-taking days. It is not online because the owners want to keep the classes small and personal, so you have to go to Kansas City (KS) to take it; but it is SO worth it. It costs the same as PASS and Kaplan, and there are student rates for nearby hotels/etc. ANYWAY, look at the site. My best friend wants to take it so I know there is a 2-week Step 2 course starting on June 13th. This is an incredible course and you will be SO GLAD you took it. PS--This course is SO HELPFUL that ANYone would benefit from it. If you have friends who haven't taken boards yet but are a little shaky/fearful about it, tell them to look at the site, too. EVERYone can learn from this class.
