Step II scoring ? & how long for results

I have a question about Step II CS. So I know it says only 10 of the encounters are scored, and I was wondering if anyone knows, do they just randomly assign 10 of the SP's as scored ones, or are they actually nice enough to drop your lowest scored ones? Also, for those who have taken this worthless crock of a test, how long after the test did it take for you to get the results?

as far as i know the 10 best scored encounters are chosen.

I am guessing that at least 1 or 2 are experimental (basically they are testing to see if they are good cases or not). I would imagine that in scoring, they probably drop both your highest and your lowest SP encounter and your highest and lowest patient note.

The NBME is very tight lipped about things like this (such as number of items needed to pass, etc). I wouldn't expect them to release information like this to the public.
I took my CS exam on 8-24-06 and received the results in the mail around the middle of October 2006. It was about 7 weeks after my exam.
