I'm in the middle of my CA II year, but now have to take Step III. I'm so busy, I can barely force myself to study, but have heard Step III is much easier than I & II. Is that true???

For references sake, I scored 231 & 232 on I & II, but swear I have forgotten half of my clinical skills since PGY I.

How much time should I take to study???

With your scores, I doubt you have too much problems with it. I'd say 3-4 weeks of good studying. Focus on medicine, peds, FP, and OB/Gyn. Surgery is low yield aside from the basics (surgical emergencies, post op fever, etc.).

Most people I talked to used Crush Step 3, but I didn't think it was that good of a review book and used my old notes and the Step 2 stuff.

If you scored 230's on steps 1 and 2, you could probably take it cold and get above average. That being said, you should still look through a review book and see how you do. If you do well on the practice tests, you'll do fine on the real one.
I took it after spending one evening on a practice test and scored almost as well as I did on steps 1 and 2, though I was an FP resident getting daily doses of medicine, OB, and surgery.
You sound like a good test-taker with your double 230's. Don't worry.
