My status on AADSAS says received/under review. Does anyone know if interviews and/or acceptances are still being offered for the following schools:

BU, Tufts, Columbia, NYU, Detroit Mercy, Case Western, and Temple.

Has anyone recently received interviews from these schools? Or are their classes nearly full? Any thoughts/input would be greatly appreciated.

Temple still interviewing and accepting . BU should still be also. Don't know about other schools. Email all these schools, even their deans to ask about your status.

Also I forgot to ask... do they look at the entire applicant pool and determine the best applicant to receive an interview? Or do they look in the order of application submission?

For example: I submitted my application extremly late (ie. January). As I mentioned, my app on AADSAS is showing received/under review. So am I going to be considered equal to applicant who applied much earlier than myself who still have their application on AADSAS saying received/under review? Or will those who applied much earlier be given interviews before myself?

Anyone know????

Of course the ones applied much earlier than you. Dental schools admission is on a rolling basis. whatever application strikes them to most they will interview.

Consensus is applying late really affects your application. There are many users on this forum that have great stats but applied late and it did hurt them. The users that applied late with average stats really really hurt them.

I know NYU and Tuft are still interviewing people. NYU still has some dates left for February.

I applied late two years ago and didn't get an interview until March for BU, Tufts, Maryland, and UMDNJ. I was literally the last day to interview for UMDNJ, and I still got into 3 out of the 4 with pretty average stats so don't stress too much... there is still time! 🙂

I got a Western dental school interview in CA on Feb 5th (which is supposedly their last day of interview).

They contacted me January 13 but I never received their message so today when I called I received their last day of interview date.
