I certified and submitted my AMCAS application over a month ago and the only thing that has happened is my MCAT scores got put in. I haven't even got that "change notification process" button yet. However, I noticed that the only thing AMCAS does really quickly is process the payment. The fees showed up on my mastercard bill the day after I submitted it. Anyone else REALLY frustrated with this?!

All I can say is, USE THE ALTERNATE PROCEDURES.

That way you can temporarily bypass AMCAS for some schools, at least up until the time they require the official AMCAS to give you an acceptance.

Many people....like myself are almost going on the 7 week mark for nothing to happen since submitting the AMCAS so I wouldn't get my hopes up too much yet. Supposedly stuff is going to start happening.
