Here's to everyone that has survived (or will soon survive) the beast known none other than MS-I.

To all......
the sleepless nights (urm...why i'm up at 4am, ah yes...neuro)....
the late night runs to taco bell, ihop, denny's and/or waffle house.......
starbucks receipts from my excellent non-fat, peppermint cafe mocha........
loans that accure like clockwork...
times you've cursed yourself for making a stupid mistake.....
times you've sworn that the answer key was wrong and you were right...
times you've wondered if this is all worth it....
days you wished you were sleeping instead of studying.......
nights when you wish you were studying instead of sleeping....
months awkardly spent in the gross lab with your new friends for life.....

and all memories made along the way....


Congrats to my fellow MS-I's......we did it!

Now take the time to enjoy these next few months, because MS-II is going to be just a big a pain in the a$$, but honestly, none of us will be surprised. We'll take it in stride, and chalk another one up in the "only a few more years left" column.

Why this sounds ridiculously close to a graduation speech, i'm not quite sure, but it's a study break nonetheless. *cough*now back to studying neuro*cough*.... 🙂

I have anatomy final exam tomorrow and biophysics the 18th. After that, two weeks of practice, and I'm free!

Oh dear, it gets even worse? I've been up for 2-3 days/nights straight. 1 more day, 2 more exams.

2 more weeks; an essay, an oral exam, a micro exam, a path exam, a lecture exam, and a fake Step 1 is all that stands in the way of me and freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeedom!

OMG - well I guess they say ignorance of what's to come is the best defense.

Seriously, it won't get any easier, but you'll get stronger without even noticing it. You'll make it some somehow. I just graduated med school, and there were definitely times when I felt like you do now. So if I can do it.....

almost done with basic sciences here forEVER...(until boards)... 2.5 more weeks and no more path, pharm or microbio in the classroom ever again!!!! and then 1.5 more months until they give me real alive people to play with!!! 😱😱😱😱

How come you think MSII is going to be a pain in the ass? Granted my school does the basic sciences in one year, but the 2nd year material (path, micro, etc.) is SO much more interesting. I'd rather study path than biochem or genetics any day of the week.

Hi honey! I had to revert back to SDN after I ran out of ways to procrastinate!

How is life at Duke? Things are fabulous in the Bay . . . I forgot that you guys start wards so fast. We have 2 month summer, then about 6 more months of classroom/boards in March before they throw us in the snakepit.

I don't know, but I'm glad it's in there. It's nice to have some easy psych questions to pad all the neuro.
