hi everyone! i was fortunate enough to get accepted into Stony Brook and VCU. Also I am invited for the interview from West Virginia University. I would like as much advice as possible!

Stony
pros
- prepare you well if you want to be GP
- school support you for matching residency
- new location?
- small class size (better relationship with faculty members?)
- residency often granted so save some tuition here?

cons
- school is a bit old and small
- oos tuition and cost of living (compare to virginia)
- didactic class in med school (hard? Or doable?)

VCU

pros
- instate tuition, living cost can be saved since I live close to VCU ( familiar area)
- know few faculty members already
- new building

cons
- quality of education compare to Stony Brook? ( not sure how different they are. Can anyone tell me more ? )
- somehow wanna get out of comfort zone maybe?
- large class size? (Ranked)

WVU

don’t know much about this school since I just got the invite. I would appreciate if you can give me some insight about this school

Thanks a lot!! ;)

I go to stony. The med school curriculum is not that hard and many enjoy it. The dental school courses are hard AF though and they really whip you into shape. Feel free to DM me.

** ALSO every OOS student at stony pays IS tuition after 1 year for the remaining 3 years
