anyone out there waitlisted at Stony Brook?

anyone know chances of being taken off?

i've written 2 letters of interest, not a peep from them.

sorry, I'm also waitlisted and haven't heard anything. Does anyone know if the waitlist is ranked ect. ?

i think it is ranked, but i dno't think there's anyway to find out where you are. i was told that there are only a few people privy to teh actual waitlist. the only thing that could be said was that my application was competitive, people do get off, and sit tight.

grr, this waiting is driving me crazy

Hi Guys

I'm currently a fourth year at stony brook and was taken from the waitlist about middle of may. At stony brook, its seems there definately take alot of people fro, the waitlist. Although I don't know any official numbers, it seems that at least half of my friends were originally waitlisted. Just hang in there and hope you here some good news soon!

i called earlier this week and was told that the waitlist hasn't been gone to yet. they haven't even looked at it, and probably won't until may 15th.

the staff person said that don't worry, the waitlist is a good place to be and just sit tight.

if i may ask, jt, did you do anything special to get off the waitlist?

how was the match list this year?
