Hey guys I had a couple of questions/qualifications. I am fairly small percentage native american and grew up splitting time on and off the reservation. I am a registered and card carrying member of my reservation. I attend things like the american indian science and engineering society conferences and they accept me. The catch is I look white as white (well red really) although my brothers are much darker lol (stupid genetics). A bunch of people have been saying how it doesn't qualify as being a minority unless you outwardly look it. My pre-dent advisor told me to check minority for native (as I have always done) so I did. Now people have me creeped out. Are the interviewers going to see me as trying to over milk the minority card? Do they care about skin color vs. blood content? Do I listen to people telling me not to register native or keep registering native and white like I always have. Thanks guys
