Striped Shirt to interview

Hey Ive been looking around but not quite sure. Is a white shirt with blue stripes too out there for a navy blue suit? I have an interview in Arizona (my first!) on Friday and am worried it might be too informal. I think it looks professional but just want a second opinion. This isnt my suit but the shirt looks pretty similar

I personally think it's nice and not distracting. Let it be the only patterned thing you wear and I say do it up.

Appears to be a nice, polished look! In my personal opinion, I believe it would be a suitable piece to wear assuming that the rest of the look can tie it together well. Good luck on your upcoming interview(s)!

It reads business casual, not business professional.

That looks professional. I saw an interviewer with a black suit that was too short, blue polka dot shirt, and red/white plaid tie. It was the worst combo I've seen yet.

Pair it with a solid tie and you'll be good. What you wear is less important than what you say unless you show up in a really poorly fitting/tailored suit.

Hey just a follow up. Stuck with the shirt and got a few compliments from the faculty on my get up, so thanks for the encouragement everyone!
