I have, all through med school. Especially during core M3 rotations when I was getting up before 5 and getting home late in the evening, when I had all that extra time on my hands. 🙄

I know of a student that did this in Ohio, and needless to say, she was eventually booted from med school. Not sure why, whether it was the stripping or grades, or other issues, all I know is she was booted after the stripping became public knowledge.

I dont know why a girl should be kicked out of med school for stripping. That seems so unfair, pushing one persons morals on someone else.

i think many students would like to see an increase in the number of female students who are active in extracurricular activities.

Nobody can get kicked out of medical school for doing something that is legal.

I stripped during premed-but that was hard enough. There is no time for that in medical school. Pulling those all nighters! Much better to take out loans. You can make more as a doctor later and not have to deal with drooling slobbering @$$holes (not all of them are btw-but sometimes even decent men turn into sleeze balls in strip clubs).

Am I being sarcastic, you ask??? that is part of the mystery of SDN...

strippers get off work at like 2am and they usually have to bone the guy who gives 'em a ride home so that'll last about another hour. If you can fall asleep at 3 and be ready to learn at 8 you should be good to go.

.....if my parents didnt help me fund my undergrad, stripping might be the best answer. i cant imagine how much debt i'd be in.

By the way, i encourage others to come out. Please, share with us your stories. It could lighten up the mood perhaps....add a little risque and humor to SDN....and definitely brighten up my monotone days.....think of it as a charity.....pweeese....if u dont, there's a good chance i might dewelop a st-st-st-st-stutter.

By the way, mudpie, i totally agree with you about the med schl burnout post and judgementality/uptightedness of classmates....sometimes it makes me crazy and x-tra insane....especially egos.....

Back in the days I had a classmate in medschool who lived on stripping. As she didn't have the cocaine habit most of her colleagues shared, she was able to live comfortably on the income (working mostly friday nights and the occasional daytime gig).

I meant you couldn't get kicked out of medical school for doing something legal on your free time. Of course you can't scream at your professors and patients. Cheating is clearly grounds for getting expelled-there are legal grounds for that.

Its not something I put on my medical school application. Currently none of my medical companions knows my past...its something I only divulge to close friends.
