I'm currently a resident at a program that doesn't really emphasize lectures very much and most of our learning is self-guided. I was wondering, is anyone at a program where they get pretty strong PPT lectures on basic concepts and OKAP prep that thinks they/their program would be willing to share these presentations? I know my co-residents want more lectures, but it's hard to get attendings to change the way they've done things for years. Any help or recs would be great :)

I feel like many of us are in the same boat. I'm not sure how much powerpoints will help you...

Learning the material for OKAPs and boards requires active learning. Without interactive lectures or question books or the act of writing/note cards/note taking and then reviewing that stuff it's hard to learn. The most valuable learning I've have has been in an interactive lecture with pimping or on my own with the question books.

Anyways, that's just my experience, but I'm curious to see what others say.
