So I applied last year unsuccessfully. School list in my mdapps.
Taking more classes wouldn't cause much of a bump in GPA, but have 2 years of >3.8 GPA in upper divs.
Tried studying for the new MCAT, but do not have high hopes for a significant improvement.

During the past year, I added two unique clinical programs. Worked over 400 hours in each. I continued hospital volunteering and have added 3 strong LORs. I was complete mid-late September last year, but hope to be complete sometime this month.

My stats are a bit lower than average, but not too bad from what I've read here. Is there enough to indicate a stronger application?

I'll be honest, I would have expected you to get a least some interviews with your stats and ECs. Do you have any red flags in your application? How many people read over your personal statement and essays?

People have said this over and over again on this site: don't reapply until you are confident that your application is better than the first time around. You have increased your volunteering and added some new clinical stuff, which is good, but if you aren't confident it's enough then it might be good to take another gap year. If you are completely against another gap year, then my tips for you this year are:
-apply as soon as possible (like within the next week your primary should be in)
-make your essays as heartfelt and as perfect as possible
-submit your secondaries as soon as possible
-remove any LORs you feel might not be doing you justice
-apply to many more lower tier schools and way less top-20s
-apply DO as well as MD

I hope that helps, good luck!!

Anon that is an amazing cycle you had ... can you give us any clues as to what the reasons might have been for so many acceptances (ECs etc.)?
