Choose the strongest acid.
a) I3CCO2H
b) F3CCO2H
c) F3CCH2CO2H
d) CH3CH2CH2CH2Li
e) F3CCH2OH

choose the strongest acid.
a) CH3CHOHCH3
b) CH3CH2CH2H
c) CH3CH2OCH2CH3
d) CH3Ch2CH2CH3
e) CH3CHClCO2H

I don't have the answer key for the first question and
answer for the 2nd question is e but I am not sure if e is really the correct answer.

Can someone tell me which one is the strongest and the weakest with reasons? Thanks in advance.

Choose the strongest acid.
a) I3CCO2H-----same as B, but F is more electronegative
b) F3CCO2H👍----correct answer
c) F3CCH2CO2H---F3 has a harder time pulling carb acid's electrons away.
d) CH3CH2CH2CH2Li--->this is a base, since the last C has a - charge
e) F3CCH2OH----alcohol, not as acidic.
I don't understand why the last C in choice d is negative charged.
