Hey all,
i was just wondering how the structure of optomtry school is. Do we do 2 1/2 year of academic foundation with progressive increase in experience in the clinics...then by 4th year-we're on rotation only? Also i heard that in SUNY students can do rotation all around the country..is that true and if so-what are some places that you can go to?

yeah, for most schools it is 2 or 2.5 years of basic sciences and basic clinic stuff. the third year, real clinical rotations start along with a lighter course load (i think), and yeah the fourth year is exclusively rotations. most schools have rotations all over the country (some even out of the country!). i know neco has one in china, so thats pretty cool. 🙂 🙂
