Hi everyone,

I am only 2 weeks until my exam and I am not faring well in both chemistry sections. I get hung up on the math based gen chem q's and I am just rusty in o-chem since it's been 4 years since I've taken it.

I am enrolled in the Kaplan course but I was thinking of buying the DAT Destroyer. Is it worth if I only have about 2 weeks? Any advice would be appreciated.

I am so nervous!!

Destroyer will help but itll take some time to get through b/c its very difficult. If u dont feel ready for the test id push it back another two weeks so that will give u time to get through destroyer. Dont worry about pushing ur test back a couple weeks because i think getting a 17 and applying two weeks early is a lot worse than applying a couple weeks later and getting a 19 or better.

Destroyer is the way to go when it comes to orgo and g-chem expect results but u need to use it correctly u cant just read the Q u need to understand the stuff! I dont how many guys it took to make the destroyer but its worth the purchase!

This is good advice. I spent 2 months doing Kaplan and thought I was good to go in the science section; the Destroyer quickly humbled me.

It has taken me 9 days to go through the chem/orgo/bio sections in the Destroyer just one time. I read every wrong answer and made sure I knew why it was wrong, and I plan to do it another 2-3 times before my test. Unless you are spending this kind of time with the destroyer, you will not see the results that you may be hoping for.
