So basically I'm scheduled to take the mcat in a week and am feeling like crap about my practice test scores. I have a high gpa, good ECs, and only need ~26-27 to be very competitive for our state school(if I apply EDP). I have to take it 6/16 to apply EDP and considering that is my only chance to get in, I'm not going to change the date.
I took aamc 7-10 recently and got 24-25. I keep getting 8-9 or sometimes 10 on the sections. I feel like I understand the material, but I just suck at standardized tests. I always feel like I'm rushing to finish so I misreading questions, use faulty logic or just run out of time. When I go back, there are always 5 or 6 questions I "should have" got right, but didn't. I don't know what to do next. Every practice test I take, I tell myself I'm not going to make those same mistakes again...and inevitably, I do.
