Hi everybody, I am new in this forum, and I think is wondefull. I am able to find a lot of answers to my questions!! Thank you so much
But now, I have a question. I moved here to the states because I got married,and now I have to do the carrier again!..I know I have to pass NDB ,toefl, gpa...but something that I don't know is where to start is the process for stutent loan. I just started my paperwork to obtain a green card! but I checked on FAFSA aplication and they ask for an alien numer, as a permanent residen. Now I called my lawyer and he said it may take 6 or 7 months to process my application and my green card. I have an employment card and ssn ,but I wonder if I can find another way to get an student loan.

Please any suggestions??

Hi,
I think as per my knowledge, u will be only eligible to get a federal loan once u get a green card otherwsie u need to take a private loan. And getting a private loan is not that hard, i mean some Permanent resident or citizen with a good credit history has to sign for you. And i suggest you to not to worry about all these as u r a long way from this process as u have to take NBDE, interviews and so onnnnnnnnnnnnn...
