This is probably something I should know, and I feel stupid asking everyone, but is there a student search service attached to the MCAT? For instance, undergrad colleges send out brochures after they see SAT scores. Do medical schools do this too?
I did poorly on the MCAT and got a few unsolicited mailings and emails saying I should apply. I decided they just didn't have enough applicants and wanted my money. I would not be competitive at all.
For the people receiving brochures, have you already submitted an AMCAS? Or do they send out brochures regardless of whether or not you've applied this cycle?
