Hey everyone.

I am filling out my AMCAS application and I have a question about requesting transcripts. For one summer I studied abroad through DIS (Danish Institute for Study Abroad) and had my credits transferred to a domestic university other than the one I went to for undergrad. These credits were transferred to my undergrad university and appear on my transcript, but did not count towards my GPA. I went through the AMCAS handbook and watched the foreign coursework video, and I learned that they do not need an official transcript from DIS, but will need one from the third-party domestic university. So I will have to request a transcript exception and have this university send an official transcript instead. But when I print a transcript request form from AMCAS, it has the address of DIS. Should I still send this to the third party university? Is there a better way of doing this?

Thanks for any information or advice!

You need to fill it out as the domestic school, then answer the questions per the video. You must be putting in the foreign school in the wrong place.

Hmm. I thought I followed the video exactly. I'll have to try again.
