The schedules here at SDN are based on our older books. Years ago, we introduced a phase I, phase II, and phase III approach to our homework. It was quickly picked up by the SDN community and many posters who proposed study schemes built their schedules around doing homework according to our three phases. We had roughly 100 questions per section, so it was proposed by SN2ed and a few people before him, that it was best to break it up into phase I = first 1/3 of the questions, phase II = second 1/3 of the questions, and phase III = last 1/3 of the questions.
If you are using our newest books (and I mean the absolute newest), then follow the phases as presented in the books (rather than an SDN schedule). We spent a great deal of time picking and placing passages for a very specific purpose in each phase. Phase I is designed for review, Phase II for timing, and Phase III for test simulation. This builds content before speed, and speed before application. It has been getting impressive results so far, although the absolute latest books have not been out for long so many results here at SDN are based on our older books.
Good luck in your preparation!
