Hey guys, I found similar threads re: study schedules, but they were pretty old (from 2007) so I figured I'd ask again.

Out of curiosity, what kind of study schedule are you setting up for yourself? how many hours a week/day? Do you give yourself a specific schedule for studying (ie, 3 hours a day/4 days a week)?

I'm just beginning with Kaplan prep, and they start with my big weakness: physics. :scared: Would it be wise to begin my own studying with physics (thus doing it at the same time as the course) even though it's the subject I expect to spend the most time on (typically I would start with my easiest subject to ease myself into it, heh, but I can see how that may be unproductive....) I definitely think I should be on schedule with my Kaplan course, but I'm expecting to have to revisit physics a lot more on my own.

Personally I would attack the hardest thing first just so everything else is easier in the long run- that's my preference though.
I'm going to attack physics and chem first so I can work on the speed so thats easier for me

My study schedule will look like this
June chem and physics content review with problems
July bio orgo review with problems. bio ill just drill until I get it
August-November Tough course load, but ill be reviewing content and doing verbal tecniques
December start taking full lengths 2x a week for familiarity with test and nailing my problem areas
January Assess whether I can take it in Jan or wait till March Mcat

Slow and steady wins the race, but I'll be doing other things which will use up all my time
