Hey everyone

So I started my dat studying on Monday and I'm wondering If I should rotate between subjects or do one or two at a time (at least for sciences)?

I was thinking of doing gen Chen and bio together and then once I finish bio do orgo, and review bio every couple days. What do you guys think? What's best? Any info helps. Thanks in advance!

I take my DAT in two days, but here's my experience:

I started off wanting to just study one subject a day, because I thought it would help me be invested in the material and get the most out of it. I think it worked nicely to get reintroduced to all subjects, but after a week and a half it became too much. I had to switch between topics each day to stay focused. Do whatever is best for your focus, but that is my experience with it!

I've been studying for the past 3 weeks and am taking the DAT next week. I've created an elaborate schedule to partition every day into 3 hours blocks, each block for a different subject. I have to agree with rckildea in that by studying several subjects a day, you don't have to constantly reintro yourself. I stopped PAT studying for a week and upon doing a practice test after, I saw a drop in my score. In my opinion, it would be best for you to dedicate yourself to one subject a day if you were studying way ahead, but you should begin juggling a few subjects a day once the exam date approaches.

I think doing more than 1 subject a day is better. Here is what I have been doing for almost 2 weeks:
7am-11am: GCHEM
1 hour break
12pm-4pm: Bio
1 hour break
5pm-9pm: OCHEM
1 hour break
10pm-12am: PAT
SLEEEPPPP!!!
This is about 14 hours, but unfortunately I have been skipping the PAT for a few days, which is not good.
Good Luck!
