I used this study technique for the MCAT and I also use it in school. Works for me. Maybe it will work for someone here.

Great post. Before watching this video I actually considered trying to study earlier on in the day as opposed to staying up until 3-4 am studying, waking up at like 1 pm and realizing half the day is gone. Granted I only have like a month and a half until my MCAT, good time to test this out now.

I'm a social person and enjoy a good conversation. But now that I'm studying for the MCAT (and balancing everything else) and feel the time crunch I've come to the realization that boy, people really like to talk. The tip about studying in between classes rather than socializing is a good one, but a hard one to accomplish. If people see you with flashcards or studying notes outside of a classroom they'll still approach you and start chatting away. In order to really maximize your time like the video suggests, you have to really practice being anti-social: go to a little niche near class--so you're not late--and but not in front of your class. Study out of sight of acquaintances. You can be around your friends and study, they'll understand, it's the casual acquaintances that are difficult to brush off. Yes, you can just tell them you're studying but 1) if they leave you alone someone else will bug you 2) they sometimes get oddly offended.
