What material do you recommend to study for the VR section of the MCAT?

Some people recommend Berkely Review, Kaplan, or Examkrackers. There are also different versions of Examkrackers that are perhaps slightly better rated than its other editions...😕

Most people will tell you EK 101 is the best practice, and EK verbal is the best book. I personally really liked the EK book, but I have never encountered the others so I am biased. The EK 101 book will help you develop skills that will help you on the AAMC practice tests, but they are not a completely accurate representation of what the AAMC VR will look like.

The consensus about VR practice materials on SDN appears to be:

Anything put out by AAMC (practice tests, self-assessment, official guide) > The Princeton Review Hyperlearning Verbal Workbook > Examkrackers 101 Passages in Verbal Reasoning >> The Berkeley Review >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Jump Start 5th Grade English > Kaplan (okay, maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration 😛)
