Studying for Radiology

I'm not quite familiar with this field. I wanted to know what the schooling process is to become a licensed Radiologist. Do you have to go to medical school like the doctors, or is it like Pharmacy where you do the prerequisites then get accepted into the professional program? Also I wanted to know where the Radiology colleges are in Texas. I've been searching but havent had much luck. Thanks.

4 years undergrad+4 years of medical school+ Steps I-III of USMLE+ 5 years of residency = Radiologist. Wasn't sure where to throw in board certification.

Wow!! thats a lot of school to be paid for. A decade and half of schooling !! The risk is quite high.

Risk of what?

The biggest risk is that you won't match into Rads (or that you won't get into med school, I suppose).
