I'm a second year with 6 Shelf exams coming up (path, physio, pharm, behavioral, histo, physical diagnosis). The upperclassmen always tell us Pre-test questions are the way to go for studying for shelf exams. However, I was wondering if i just stuck to UWorld or Rx whether that would be adequate preparation for the shelfs???

Thanks!!

If you have enough time why not Uworld? I used it for my path shelf exam and it helped A LOT. However, taking the time to do all the questions you need to do and annotate/study may require more time than you have. Pre-test is the way to go for physical diagnosis at least [definitely do that one]. For the other ones Uworld would be fine IMO. Sorry i couldn't offer more advice, I took shelf exams one at a time not all 6 in a closed space of time. That may be better though...Hope this helps in some way/any way.
