Hey all,

would it be unwise to only use AAMC materials? I feel like studying from the source is the best thing to do, and want to just work from their stuff only. Has anyone done this and scored well?
Thanks!

That's very unwise.

Study from 3rd party sources such as TBR, Kaplan, KA, Uworld, nextstep etc.

Use AAMC qbanks, section banks, and FL's nearing your exam date.

I agree with paradoxic. Have you seen your AAMC materials yet? They don't really have any content review stuff so using just that wouldn't be the wisest thing to do. Use the 3rd party sources mentioned above to get a grasp of content and use AAMC to get a grasp of how the exam will likely be set up.

I studied using UWorld and AAMC stuff only and did well. But the AAMC stuff alone won't be nearly enough. The AAMC explanations for most questions suck too. I'd recommend at least adding UWorld, but if I could go back I'd do a little P/S Anki since there were some vocabulary that AAMC/UWorld didn't cover.
