StUPiD Questions asked in class

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
In my high school senior English class, there was a girl who asked if Mexico was a country.

One in my AP History class asked if
the dinosaurs were around when Jesus was alive.

This was NOT a home-school. The prof's wife had had twins about a month before and he was so sleep-deprived he just kind of broke into half laughter, half weeping.

why dont I have any anecdotes of these really stupid question?

I feel deprived.

What happened to amwatts? Wasn't that your name before? Maybe I'm just confused...

This question is from an ethics class last semester..

"But I thought that all asians are Chinese, and you're either Japanese, Vietnamese, or whatever based on what religion you believed in. So...you're telling me they're actually nationalities?" 😱

My 12th grade English teacher once asked a girl how she planned to thank her boyfriend for her Valentine Day gift, in front of the entire class.

It's not just students who ask stupid questions.

Patients ask the most angering, rage inducing questions ever. They are much easier to forgive than stupid or just lazy classmates. I'm so glad I'm not in school this semester. ugh.

This wasn't in class, but at an interview.

"Not many people have applied for med school from your high school. Does your high school not prepare you well for med school?"

I didn't know how to answer that.

lol..I remember in high school biology...my friend was doing a presentation on birth-control methods. There was some sort of method that involved installing some sort of metal object in the woman's uterus( I don't remember what it exactly was). So one of the kids in the class asked, "So if they place it in the uterus, doesn't it fall out when the woman pees?" Haha...he thought that females urinate through their vagina! He didn't know that women have a urethra...As funny as it is, I think a lot of people have been misinformed on the female urogenital system 😛
