Stupid residency application question

So, can the programs see where you all else applied and/or will interview at? I know with medical school applications, they would see the other schools you applied to. I hope this is not the case. For some reason I feel it introduces generally unhelpful biases in the review of the applicant if at the very least at a subconscious level.

Most programs I interviewed at asked where else I applied, so be prepared to side-step this question if needed.
