So I was wondering if a school decides to not give you a secondary application, will they notify you of this? In other words, do you get a reject letter if you don't even make it to secondary applications? There was one day where I didn't check my Spam box in my e-mail, and I accidentally just clicked "delete forever" for all the e-mails in there. I really really hope that nothing important went in the Spam box by accident. I'm thinking for schools that I don't hear from, maybe I should contact them just in case I deleted a secondary app e-mail? Maybe a better question would be... based on your experience did you have any school e-mails ending up in your Spam? Thanks all!

What e-mail program were you using?

Ok, so I went back to see which schools that I've applied to send out secondary applications to all applicants and which ones screen. My AMCAS hasn't been processed yet, so I don't expect to hear from screening schools yet. So... for the following non-screening schools:
Drexel
Rosalind Franklin
Creighton

Did you guys receive the secondary application right after you submitted your AMCAS? Do they send it to you with just the preliminary AMCAS info or only after they received the full processed AMCAS? Thank you!

almost everything went to spam but i use hotmail.

I got Drexel and Rosalind Franklin after my AMCAS was verified. Rosalind Franklin was quick, like within the next few days, but Drexel took a whole month.

I also got Drexel and RFU after verification. I don't think either of them came right away, but within a few weeks at the most. I use gmail, as well, and have never had a problem with stuff from schools going to my spam folder.

Yea I have heard that some e-mail programs do sort stuff from schools to spam folders but I personally use gmail and have never had any problem. All of my secondaries were in my inbox. I think you should be fine. I also had several of the schools you listed too which may help.

I also use gmail and have never had a school email go to spam. Wake Forest sent me a rejection email that said something like "we are sorry but we cannot ask you to complete the secondary form this year"
