Subjetc Boards????

I was just wondering if there are any other medical schools out there that require students to take subject boards(Anatomy,biochemistry) for the basic sciences.???

If you mean shelf exams, the answer is yes...many do this.

What I mean is that after I finish my course in anatomy (as well as other basic sciences) I will be giving a grade. After final exams I am required to take a national subject board in anatomy. I f I do not pass that exam I would fail the class regardless of what I got in class througout the semester. On the other hand, there aren't too many medical schools that require students to take this subject board exams. I do not know what you mean with shelf exams??

if you do a search, there are lots of people talking about how they have to take shelf exams...moreso in the clinical years, but definitely in the pre-clinical ones, too.
