According to my recruiter, no. Dentists are only on carriers and amphibs.

You will not stand the tension inside of a sub... and I think you need a physical if you are to enroll into the silent service. CVs and LCACs may be what the Navy offers. I know somebody.

If submarines get independent duty corpsmen instead of physicians, there is probably zero chance a dentist would be on the boat.
