I've already submitted my TMDSAS application and I'm about to submit my AMCAS application. I was wondering how heavily my fairly late submission will affect my chances at getting into a top 10 school. I'm applying to HMS, WashU, UCSF, Duke, UPenn, Baylor, and Hopkins. I have pretty good stats, BS in Bio from UT-Austin with a 4.0, 36 on the MCAT, research, some ec's, at least one really good LOR.
My logic was that this late in the game, the more schools I applied to the better...

I don't believe that your that late. And, you're stats are competitive for any school. I would not spend time worrying about it.

As a general rule, as you apply later, your chances definitely go down. It's not really late yet. People submitting in late August-September, however, definitely are at a disadvantage.

Why are you freaking out so much? (You've already started a thread similar to this.)

You'll be fine, don't worry.
