Submit application while waiting on certification

Quick question-- I have been verified by AACOMAS and want to apply to the rest of the schools on my list. Can I send my application to these other schools while I wait for a course certification? I assume this will be okay as long as I have the certification I am waiting for on my AACOMAS by the time I submit my secondaries?
